Eat under 15 Euro at Tamam situated on the harbour and serves traditional style Cretan food. Eat under 30 Euro at Peri Orexeos is a taverna that offers diners Modern Greek cuisine. Eat under 50 Euro at the Balcony Restaurant located in the old part of the city, eat local cuisine.

Remezzo is a great outside café that is by the harbour serving drinks and snacks. La Brasserie is a bar and café that not only serves great food but plays live Cretan music. The Reflex bar is a fun bar that everyone will love it’s an 80s style theme pub with music and video games.

Chania Town is the best place to go for leather goods such as boots, belts, shoes and handbags. You can definitely pick up some great bargains here on leather goods.

Not to be Missed!

The Heraklions Summer festival is fantastic with many Cretan bands playing live music. There are some great sight to see also such as Venizelou Square, St Titos Church, Venetian port and Koules Fortress. Visit the volcanic island of Santorini, and take a ride on a cable car up to the top of the volcanic crater.
