To Geneva from the Airport

By Taxi to the centre it takes 15 minutes and costs around 50 CHF. By Train go to Cornavin station it costs about 3 CHF.

Where to Eat

Eat under 15 Euro at Lady Godiva Pub and get a burger, pasta, curry or an English breakfast. Eat under 30 Euro at the Nologo a great Italian restaurant serving good food and wine. Eat under 50 Euro at Le Cent Suisse a restaurant serving traditional local dishes.

Evening Entertainment

Go to the coolest bar in Geneva called Central Perk, great for snacks and drinks. The Coolheure Café has live bands playing during the week, plus the cocktails are great. The Platinum Club is the best place to go to go for party animals; it plays house and R n B.

Shopping

There are many designer boutiques to shop at in the old Town of Geneva.

Not to be Missed!

An exhibition called Geneva Classics 09 is where you can see many old cars, boats, aircrafts and motorbikes. Go to Place Neuve and walk through Parc de Bastions or have a drink at one of the many cafes and watch the people go by. 30 minutes outside Geneva are the French border, go to Mont Saleve and take a ride on the cable car up the mountain, there are some fantastic views.
